On Location: Boulevard Brewery

It’s Friday and in Kansas City the temps are climbing up to triple digits again. 140,000+ barrels of beer should help cool you off. Earlier this year I had opportunity to photograph a Kansas City treasure,  Boulevard Brewery. Boulevard Brewing Co. was founded over 20 years ago and has become one of the top brands in Kansas City. The brewery sold over 140,000 barrels of beer in 2009 and has the capability of producing 200,000 making them one of the largest specialty brewers in the Midwest. Founder John McDonald was very gracious with his time and in an hour we were able to get three location portraits as well as some candid shots. I went back to the brewery a second time and got some detail shots. Below you will see some of the images from the shoot.
